For home remedies there are several tactics that some people swear by. Before trying these remedies it is important to locate the infected location. If you do not see a stain or can't identify the exact location you will need to utilize a black light to locate the stained area.

Once you identify the stain you will need to try and absorb the urine from the carpet. Some people use a towel, while others swear on baking soda to absorb the urine.
